In my family I've had several people who've needed special care which is what first introduced me to this path.

My first preparation was a lot of prayer and of course studies and classes followed. I received my RN and my BSN. I actually began my career working with my first love, babies. I then found myself working with seniors and I began to see things through a different lens and realized how much care the elderly needed as well.

This biggest challenge I've overcoming is balancing my home life and my professional life. Being a mother with dreams and visions often means choosing one or the other, but I made it work.

My greatest strengths are most definitely my faith, my perseverance, and my ability to love unconditionally. 

My wonderful son, whom I am so proud of, is my greatest accomplishment. Second to that, learning caution and balance.

I'm working on getting my business off the ground which may include a move to Atlanta.

While visiting a cousin in the hospital, I ended up in a unit with babies and I saw the love, care, and attention those nurses lavished on those little ones who couldn't be with their parents. I thought to myself, I could do this.

A God fearing woman, a beautiful wife, a loving mother, and someone who gave her all and changed lives for the better.

Sometimes, I just like to "girl out" and relax with a mani-pedi and a trip to the hair salon.
