I originally started out 10 years ago with the intention of being a Marketing and Public Relations Agency, however my experience in the medical field ended up serving as the foundation of my professional career and stuck with that!

Four years ago I gave birth to my second child and longed for greater flexibility in my career. I wanted to start working at home doing medical billing, however regulations prevented me from doing that, so I decided to to become more proactive and began doing consulting work in the medical field.

The foundation of my preparation was my formal education. I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas, Pan American. I then became certified in MACRA Proficiency and Medical Compliance and Coding by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

The biggest challenge I have overcome, and one that I hope to help other women overcome, is that "Glass Ceiling". Very often in the medical field I have been treated with disrespect, or been made to feel inferior to a man. Despite that fact that this industry is so heavily male dominated, my business consists of 90% women!

Among my greatest strengths are my communication skills, my subject matter knowledge, my versatility, and my ability to motivate others.

My greatest accomplishment has been establishing my company, while simultaneously being a single mom. I started out with nothing, and I have grown this into a successful,reputable business and made a name for myself that I am very proud of. 

My goal is to become a motivational leader and create workshops and self-help programs, designed to empower women and help them rise above their challenges. I am also very interested in organizing a GSEW chapter in my area and recruiting more women to join the effort!

My children and my mentors have inspired me throughout my career.

I want to be remembered as a woman who never gave up, who inspired others, and who always saw the best in people.
