I chose this career path because
This career chose me! Becoming a Minister or Pastor is truly a calling. Before making Ministry my passion, was the Principal of an Elementary School and High School, as well as an English Teacher. I have always been draw to positions that would allow me to help others in any capacity.
I prepared for this career by
In preparation for my career in education I obtained a Master's degree in education. As far as my journey toward becoming a Pastor, I attended Seminary School.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
Typically, religious leaders are predominantly men, however I will say that thankfully women are making huge strides in this field.
My greatest strength(s)
Among my greatest strengths are my leadership and motivational skills, along with the influence that I have on my congregation. I am very aware of the responsibility that comes with being a Pastor and the affect I have on others.
My greatest accomplishment to date
The investment that I have made in others is my greatest accomplishment. I want to take my congregation to another level!
My personal/professional goals
I want to continue to influence my congregation in forward, positive ways and grow in numbers across the nation.
What/Who has inspired me the most
My journey has been one of Divine Inspiration.
I most want to be known/remembered for
I would like to be remembered for being a great leader, the sacrifices I have made for others, and for my commitment to mentoring others, especially the younger generation.
