I have been cooking for people since I was 10 years old and I absolutely love to cook and serve others my food. It is part of the fabric of my family. I have fond memories of cooking with my Grandmother and preparing meals for my brother when he would come home from college ... and then we'd share the meal and talk. It is about hospitality, a cultural connection and forming a fellowship, and I love to bring young people into the business to prepare them in the industry and give them an opportunity to work in industry that is based on hospitality and good service. It gives them a great way to earn money while they are in school.  My other passion is with numbers and they way they talk to us. I worked as a Data Analyst for the federal government, while owning my business. 

I graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island where I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Data Management Systems. The cooking was learned, and of course I obtained the required certifications and licenses to operate Elite Cuisine.

I face challenges from the men who own big restaurants with large overhead and offer little flexibility in their catering services.  I offer lower prices and better quality food because my overhead is lower. But, the most important thing to know is that I create a menu that is unique to each customer. I "cater" to their needs and wants, it is about service and listening to what they want. 

I am totally service oriented whether it be in my own business or in managing data for the government. It is about making your customer first.  I am enjoy catering to my customers' special needs and wants. 

I am most proud of the young people that I have mentored and given a way to earn money.  I am happy to teach them that service and h ow to treat customers is just as important as providing quality food. 

Since I have retired from my job with the government and been managing my business full time, I have noticed other business owners who are struggling and could use my services to help them interpret data. So, to that end I am looking forward to consulting with them and helping them to interpret the data that is available to them so that they can experience growth and success. I also intend to spend some time in t he kitchen. 

The food has always been a comfort to me in never seemed like work...I like to share and serve people and see their pleasure with it. I am inspired bby what the numbers can tell us. Seeing what they reveal has always been fascinating to me, and I love sharing and translating what they show us with people and that is inspiration enough. 

As a woman who gave 100% and gave her time and believed in giving back.

I absolutely love spending time with my 3 year old grandson, traveling to New England to see my extended family and visiting New Hampshire.  I enjoy watching my niece who is a figure skater.
