I have served in various roles throughout my professional career, starting out an as Executive Assistant and working my way up to the Director of Administration, where I managed a team of 5 executive assistants. I accepted the role as the Director of Employee Engagement at Elavon because I saw it as a great opportunity for me to apply the skills and knowledge I have acquired throughout the years and have a greater impact on the company and it's employees.

Most of my preparation was hands on. I learned by way of experience, by researching, and by interviewing and learning from other members of the organization. 

My biggest challenge is upward mobility.

My greatest strengths include my administrative skills, my organizational skills, and my ability to execute plans and work collaboratively. 

My greatest accomplishment was successfully managing and executing a Health Wellness Expo from scratch. There were a lot of moving parts and I was responsible for all aspects including marketing, financing, and securing vendors.

Before I retire, I want to make my mark and leave a lasting impression that benefits both the organization and its employees. I have plans to eventually transition from the corporate arena to the non-profit arena, and do more volunteer work.

I am inspired by my innate desire to help people. 

I want to be remembered for what I contributed to the non-profit world, and for providing the necessary resources and opening doors for those who had no voice.

I help support and volunteer my time to the United Way, the American Heart Association and the Hospitality Pray Breakfast.

I enjoy traveling, shopping, outdoor activities and sports.
