I am the Assistant Superintendent for Missouri Schools for the severely disable. I focus on finding creative simple solutions to education challenges.

I pursued my passion for writing and my career as an author after a tragedy struck my family. Through the worst of times, I read inspirational and self-help books as an escape. I began to apply the practices and principles that I had read to my own life situations and mastered the habit of thinking purposefully and shutting out my negative feelings. The feelings of being victimized, helpless, and hopeless are what triggered my transformational journey to self-mastery. Having successfully applied what I learned to my own life,  I felt a responsibility to share my story, my experiences, and the knowledge I gained with others, in hopes of inspiring, helping and empowering them to pursue a journey of their own. Click here for my full story.I have authored three books about self-health titled, Loving Intentionally, Living Intentionally A Six Step Transformation, and Living Intentionally Workbook. 

As far as my formal education, I received a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Education Specialist, Superintendency.

My biggest challenge was being a young mother and raising my children while establishing myself professionally. 

Some of my greatest strengths include my public speaking skills, my strength and perseverance, and my accountability. I also have an ability to instill hope in the lives of others and provide them with the tools to rise above.

My greatest accomplishments have been self-mastering depression and crisis and building a strong faith.

My personal goal is to eventually help my daughter open an upscale boutique.

I am inspired by my passion for life and living in the moment. I am committed to a life of "smelling the roses" and I don't save anything for my bucket list... I do it now! I am also inspired by my innate curiosity, passion for education, and constant yearning to learn something new and challenge myself.

I want to remembered as someone who lived to love and did so intentionally. I love people and I love to give.

I am a member of the Governors Council on Disabilities.

I volunteer in my church and in the community.

I enjoy anything outdoors, including fly fishing and paddle boarding!
