I am a Registered Nurse, but have been in the Travel Industry for 19 years. As a nurse, I worked with a physician who was always on the road and had trouble with his travel agent, I started to book his trips myself and he suggested I open my own agency. Then, a Priest at church asked me to book his international travel and thus I went into the travel business. I now book church groups as well.

I received my Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Certification and was trained by the Academy for Travel Agents. As an Outside Agent out of Tampa I  attend conferences every year in an effort to continue my education. For my career in Nursing I became an RN and received an MA in Healthcare Administration from Parkwood University (UK). I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Holistic Medicine at Trinity University.

My biggest challenge is trying to balance my family and traveling with groups.

I research and find great pricing to enable people who could not normally afford travel to travel.

I am happy about the arrangements I have made for individual and group clients and the projects I have been involved in the Healthcare field. I work with lower-income families in Baltimore putting together programs to help this area.

I do have a Bucket List of places I want to visit. Another goal is to get that PhD in Holistic Medicine and I am looking to put together a program with a partner.

 In order to accomplish this I am starting to look to partner with others and then go out and attract Grants.

I grew up in lower-income home, and that humbled me a great deal. I can relate to the less fortunate. My father passed away before I was born, and growing up it was just me, my two brothers, and my mom. My mom was always my biggest fan and my mentor. She always had a vision for me and believe in me, and I owe much of my success to her unconditional support.

I want to be remembered as a giver and for always seeking ways to help those in my immediate space and making them feel important. Giving has always been the root of my success. When a project ends, the phone calls and compensation are about how I have inspired other people to do more and accomplish what they thought they could not do.
