I chose this career because I was always drawn to numbers. I have been in the profession for 30 years working with small businesses and the Federal Government. I provide leadership and direction in conducting financial and compliance audits for nonprofit and profit organizations and the State and Federal Government.

I am a Certified Public Accountant and received a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

My biggest challenge has been in achieving a work-life balance. My profession requires meeting demanding deadlines and putting in long hours. Being a business owner requires putting in the work to bring the right people into the firm to help meet our clients and meet company goals. With those two factors, finding time for my personal life is challenging.

My greatest strength is being a small business owner. I am very involved and get to know my clients well. I also have built a strong network, I am timely, and I always come in on budget.

My greatest accomplishment is managing to do specialize audits, helping with the growth of the staff and helping our clients find the right person to support them and stay ahead. 

My professional goal is the growth of the firm, having a larger presence in the government field and possibly to sell the business one day.

I am inspired by my clients. I like working with my clients, building those relationships and seeing them grow.

I want to be remembered for the challenges I faced in running my business, the balance between spending time with my son and work and now how deeper the relationship has grown with my son.

I am a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants.

I volunteer with my nonprofit clients and work pro bono.

I enjoy golf.
