I have been in the travel industry for 40 years and have had Befitting Your Style for 29 years. I work out of satellite offices and from home creating unique experiences for clients.

I started out as a Special Education teacher in South Windsor, Connecticut where I taught art and dance. I developed a program to work with children who were designated as being mentally handicapped, when it was later found that they merely had hand-eye coordination problems. I moved to Florida and tried to get a position in Special Education, however there was not a huge demand and I had to consider alternate career options.

I went to several hotels and coordinated programs then started a production company and got other certifications. I decided to put everything together and open my own company encompassing everything I had learned.

I went to Boston University and received an AA in Art and Dance at the School of Fine & Applied Arts. I participated in several travel agent seminars and received multiple certifications from cruise lines. Then, I actually held seminars for travel agents on cruises to teach them how to make extra money.

We still live a man's world. That said, the biggest challenge for me is in creating an understanding that women have a tremendous amount to contribute for which we should be equally recognized for.

I feel my greatest attributes are that I am non-judgemental, compassionate, and caring - I respect everyone. I am also very creative!

My greatest accomplishments are my two, wonderful daughters. Second to that, I am happy with how my life turned out and the journey that got me here - I am in a good place.

My vision is to keep doing what I am doing and discovering new places to explore; in particular Israel is on my bucket list.

My inspiration is that I love being alive and finding new things to see and do and interacting with other people.

I want to be remembered as a fun-loving, interesting, and creative person.
