I work for the World Customs Organization setting international standards for security, and facilitating and developing instruments to be more efficient customs organizations, while taking into consideration the security problems we face now.

We set international standards for 180 countries customs procedures.

I have a master's degree in international strategy and diplomacy.

The biggest challenge I have overcome has been being an Asian woman in the field. Working internationally, while trying to be accepted and respected has been challenging. I also moved my family from Malaysia to Belgium and we all had to learn a new language and culture.

My greatest strength is networking, as well as bringing ideas and people together. My company works with 180 member countries, so networking is one of the best strengths to have.

My greatest accomplishment has been working here creating instruments and standards for a complex group of member countries.

I would like to find my next position, hoping it is as interesting as this has been.

My mother has been a driving force, encouraging me to get a higher education which she never had.

I would like to be remembered for being able to bring people together to achieve something important.
