About me
Since the age of 19 I have worked in the call center industry. It was something I started part-time in college with a company called Media Express, as a sales agent working on the phone. As I was finishing up my B.A. I was able to move up the ranks in the company, and was promoted to a coach, then a supervisor, and then an account manager. While I did receive my B.A. in Psychology, life had a different plan for me. I had knack and a passion for what I was doing - I was the youngest in my field to represent a Fortune 500 company. My career eventually sort of plateaued with Media Express and so I began to look for different challenges. I went on to work for another call center as the overall facility manager and after being with them for a while, I was recruited back by the old president of Media Express to participate in a new business venture with him. I did that for a while and upon the end of my time there I decided to become an independent contractor, rather than join another company. I started my own venture consulting for call centers and building them up, which for this first time afforded me the flexibility to travel, which I took full advantage of so that I didn't rob myself of my youth having held so many high level positions at such a young age. I eventually got married and started a family and longed for a more stable career that did not require travel, and I started working with LinkNow Media as the Director of Business Management. I also handle the company's weekly Payroll.
