Gulf Coast Education Solutions is a multi-disciplinary educational service center that provides special, individualized services for exceptional learners! Our team consists of certified teachers, therapists, and other trained professionals who specialize in multiple areas of education.  Our goal is to determine individual needs and provide appropriate instruction to turn frustration into success!

We offer Dyslexia Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy, Language Interventions, Working Memory Training, Tutoring/ Remediation, Assessments, Advocacy Services, Early Intervention, and more!

I always wanted to help people and had a calling to educate. I was placed into special education out of necessity of our school, but I fell in love with it.  I found my passion in helping these children and working with their parents and instantly knew I wanted to do more! I taught in the public schools for 8 years,  before I opened my center, shortly after the birth of our 4th child. 

My preparation for my career has been a combination of formal education and experience. I received my MEd in Special Education with a focus on mild to-moderate to severe disabilities from William Carey College. Additionally, I have numerous hours of continuing education credits in the area of Autism and Related Developmental Disorders.  I have experience as a Special Education Teacher and a Case Manager in the public school system, as well as providing private services. I have taught students with a wide range of learning disabilities and I have experience in a variety of specialized interventions and programs designed to address specific learning needs.

I think that being a woman in this field is advantageous because we use our natural skills; We are loving, nurturing and we know how to reach our children.

I am determined to do everything I can to make things happen, "no" is not an option. When it comes to helping children and their families with their needs I am relentless, organized and passionate about providing the services my students need and deserve.

I am certainly proud that I started this new and growing business while being the mother of a newborn baby, a wife, and mother of 4!

My goal is to grow the business to operate like a home school with more services and reach a larger group. I will need to obtain more space to add classrooms and more staff to meet the needs of my students.

I have had the privilege of working with many amazing educators that have taught me, helped me, and inspired me. Just seeing the return on what is invested in these children keeps me and my husband going. 

I want to be remembered as someone who gave service to all. I want people to know me as the person to go to for the services or resources to help whether it is parents, children, friends or family and that I never gave up.

I have been named Teacher of the Year. 

I sponsor and support a Little League team every year. 

My own non profit - L.I.F.E. - Learning is for Everyone. 

I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, car racing and a great pedicure.
