A writer of poetry and an artist since childhood I have also had a number of careers in extremely diverse fields : graphic design, marketing, real estate agent in highest and best use for large commercial centers (MA), gallery founder and director (5), translator and simultneous interpreter, certified practising coach for corporate teams and individuals, ESL program creation, professor of ESL & trainer of new teachers at university and in public & private organizations.

As a young person I was highly athletic in the following fields : classical and modern dance, tennis, sailing, archery, skiing, swimming and diving, etc.

My favorite pass times are reading and writing, mostly haiku.  I am presently "retired" but participate actively in art exhibitions internationally and conferences and panel discussions on the need and use of art in today's overly materialistic and individualistic world to encourage peace and communication outside language barriers. 

Galerie Quint-Essences, my latest full gallery with additional activities was influential in the the city of Neuchâtel, Switzerland for 11 years. It was closed in December 2016.  I have chosen to continue the gallery site to allow artists to post their activities which will still go out to my client list. 

I am now using the name of my non profit organization, Art à la cARTe as my company name to create an internet company to propose art works of my own and those of artists who have formed my stable of those chosen to follow me on the internet highway.  This site is in the process and should be completed in the near future. Our objective is to continue to launch talented, capable artists in all fields and to create a fund to help those artists who have fallen on hard times. We are looking for sponsors to help us with this objective.

I have always been involved in the arts, writing and coaching. I want to educate the public to the art works that are challenging in aspects of size and originality. I want to broaden the scope of artistic endeavors and programs. I use the arts as the tool to discover non-verbal issues to facilitate a greater understanding, communication and harmony resulting in better performance and growth. I coach people with needs, changes within society and companies where relationships and people most often change.

I have a MA.  As a teacher and trainer in University programs, I have spent 25 years learning and teaching, listening and coaching those with special needs of one kind or the other; either in their professions or in their search for a line of work. I am a Certified Corporate and Personal Development Coach. I have been mentored by the people of the Red Cross and Life Coaches at the IRSP at Lausanne, Switzerland.

My biggest challenge was working in the nuclear field on two sites in Normandy, as a teacher of technical English for the Directors and white collar engineers for 6 years, preparing them for on site visits by foreigners, for safety programs, insurance company visits, OSARTs and WANOs as well as cultural differences when engineers went abroad to work on various sites, especially in China for the joint dam project.

My greatest strength is connecting people, having them work with each other and help each other out. I have launched many young artists and given them a chance in my gallery in Switzerland and connected them to other possible venues.  My second strength is my compassion for the underdog or persons in need of support or help.

My greatest personal accomplishment was my Gallery in Neuchatel, Switzerland which became a cultural site and a place to help women needing coaching and a way to escape their isolation or work anxiety.

My professional goal was to open a new gallery, finding a new place and seeking artists to support me in the gallery.  Since then I have decided to change the format to connect with a wider public and more art collectors via the internet.

I have always been inspired by other women; my mother at a young age she constantly encouraged me to be curious and to try everything to learn more, including French which has allowed me to live and work in France and Switzerland for over half my life.  Other women have inspired me by their generosity and caring nature that is both loyal and continuous.

I want to be remembered for my ability to work with people of all levels, my art work and my writing.
