I have been in this position for the past four years and I serve as a communications leader, successfully developing, implementing, and managing an internal communications program tailored at increasing employee engagement and aligning with overall company strategy. With 27 years of experience at ARCADIS, I have worked in a variety of roles from proposal and graphics development to advertising. I am a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, and I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geology from Susquehanna University.

I chose this career because this is my passion.   I love what I do.

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geology from Susquehanna University. I also have a Black Belt from Milcrom International Communication Boot camp.  I continue to take various courses pertaining to my field.

The biggest challenge is just being a women in a male dominated field.

My greatest strength is in general communications.

My greatest accomplishment is establishing the importance of this position.  This position holds great value and has been implemented in other departments as well.

My goal is to continue to grow and be an asset to my firm.   I want to mentor other young women in communications.

I have been inspired by other leaders that I have worked for.  They really care about the company and mentoring others.  I started out at the ground level and continue to work my way up. 

I want to be remembered as someone who made a difference and helped my staff to grow.

I enjoy spending time with my child who is now attending the University of Maryland and my four cats.
