About me
If you read through some of the other sections of my profile, I think you can piece together the story that I'm currently writing and living.
As of this writing (done on Monday, November 20, 2017), I'm still working on a project that I'm hoping will make the world a better place (or, at the VERY least, leave it no worse) through a combination of information, inspiration, entertainment, education, enlightenment, and a whole lot of other empowering and positive ingredients.
On December 12, I'll be turning 65 years young.
What I'm doing is actually a process that will keep growing and evolving until my time on earth is finished -- after which I hope that, if I've given you anything of value, you and others will keep sharing my words and living them.

It's now December 29, 2018, and I've decided that this is a great time to update my profile.I'm now 66 and can hardly believe how quickly time has gone by. I still haven't grand-opened "THE BIG PROJECT" but have been working on a lot of little projects and am pleased with the progress I've made. I believe that 2019 will be an amazing year with a lot of long-held dreams being realized.Continue to click on the Peephole I mentioned earlier in this, as 2019 -- and even the final days of 2018 -- will be action-packed.One thing I've done is to make a resolution to celebrate Christmas everyday all year long plus several days more. About my company
Although I DO have a name already chosen to define what my multifaceted mission is (will be revealed, most likely, in a matter of days) what I basically am is one person expressing my thoughts for whatever they might be worth...

I chose this career path because
I am a freelance writer and an online journalist. I have a passion for helping people through my writing. I think communicating through writing and speaking is inborn with me. I had a baby picture of me taken by my parents, and underneath it I wrote "Born to Babble".

I prepared for this career by
I studied at the University of Indianapolis and joined several writing groups. I also studied the internet and all of its resources to learn the best ways to communicate with others.

The biggest challenge I've overcome
The biggest challenge I've overcome is homelessness. I was homeless for a year starting in September 2013. I had to live in my minivan and sometimes at a nursing home. I was able to move back into my own apartment in Anderson, but that experience was a challenge and real life lesson on what is truly important.

My greatest strength(s)
My faith is my greatest strength, followed closely by creative abilities and communication skills - I have a way with words.

My greatest accomplishment to date
My greatest accomplishment (and my greatest challenge) was surviving homelessness -- and not just "merely" surviving it (which is quite an undertaking in and of itself) but, also, using the experience to educate myself about various aspects of this kind of situation.
_____ On Monday, September 9, 2013, I became a statistic: a member of the homeless population here in a part of so-called Western Civilization known as The United States of America (in Indiana, in my case). If someone had told me that I would, someday, end up homeless, I wouldn't have believed him/her, as my life seemed to be actually heading in the opposite direction from that. _____ (to be continued...)
