I have been in Cosmetology for almost 30 years and I originally went into the field because I thought it would be the perfect outlet for my creativity. 17 years ago, I started Ki'Jam Industries after having worked at other hair facilities throughout my career and gaining valuable experience with the impacts that hair loss has on people. I identified a need for quality products and services in the hair augmentation industry and so I developed a process that truly works, is custom made from the highest quality human hair materials, and is provided to clients with the compassion and care they deserve. This all culminated into what we now call the NSMT “Non-Surgical Micro-Tether” process.

I studied at Hackensack Beauty Academy and became a licensed cosmetologist and Hair Colorist in New York and New Jersey. I went on to study at the Paul Mitchell Academy and became a Licensed Hair Cutter and at Goldwell where I learned to color hair.

My biggest challenge has been being a business owner and unbeknownst to me became pregnant while I was growing my business, working full-time and training employees.

My strengths include properly managing my business, including inventory management and employee relations. I am a great mentor and I have a passion for teaching my employees. I am also creative in my marketing initiatives, for example I send out invitations to doctors to make them aware of the services we offer for their patients.

My greatest accomplishments include starting Ki'Jam, which continues to grow everyday, and helping to certify many people throughout the course of my career. I am so passionate about what we do and the quality of products and services we provide - our work helps to get people through very difficult moments in their life.

I envision myself growing and pushing the business to the limit. I am in the process of getting more space and have asked the landlord for another unit for the general public, as I strongly feel the people who see me for extensions for medical reasons need their privacy. 

The look on a person's face who I have transformed, their smile, is all the inspiration I need.

I want to be remembered as a good person who helped people feel comfortable and be themselves and also that through me, my children have learned to help other people.
