About me
I am passionate about my job. I am part of the infrastructure that provides the very best defensive and offensive tools, tactics, equipment, and all the logistics support needed to keep the warfighter safe and take the adversaries out.
I chose this career path because
I chose this career path because as a young girl after graduating from High School, I knew that there was a great world out there that I wanted to live in. I was also always fascinated by aircrafts.
I prepared for this career by
I prepared for this position by enlisting in 1972 during the Vietnam War and was the only female and the only technical women. I then went on to get my Master's of Science degree.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
The biggest challenge that I had to overcome was dealing with women who did not live with the best morals and integrity but got promoted anyway.
My greatest strength(s)
My greatest strengths are that I am intuitive, intelligent and trained.
My greatest accomplishment to date
My single greatest accomplishment was facilitating the transportation of engines from Hawaii to Afghanistan.
My personal/professional goals
My personal and professional goals are to be on the logistics team going to Italy and obtaining the logistics manager position.
What/Who has inspired me the most
I am very patriotic and possess an internal drive to defend my country; this is what continues to inspire me.
I most want to be known/remembered for
I most want to be remembered as a patriot who always did my very best, even when I wasn't successful.
I participate in the following organizations/memberships
I participate in the Logistics Officer's Association and Chapter 97 of the Vietnam Veterans Association.
I support the missions of these charities/volunteer my time
I support the Quacker State and Lube Silent Auction for SICSA an organization that raises money to spray and neuter animals.
I enjoy the following hobbies/interests
In my spare time I enjoy gardening and watching certain TV shows.
