About my company
Raskob Kambourian Financial is a fee-only life planning firm that offers assistance in founding business plans for start-ups, and handles taxes, estate and retirement planning, pension plan design, trust services and asset management. All planners with the company have credentials such as MBA, CFP, EA, CSA, and many others.
I chose this career path because
Ms. Raskob chose this career path after starting out on a hospital board. She created the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Tuscon and became its first professional director. Additionally, Ms. Raskob had to find people to support the foundation.
I prepared for this career by
She earned a Bachelor of Science in business management and psychology from Kansas State University, and graduated with honors. Ms. Raskob has done work with Kansas State University and Arizona University, and taught classes in financial planning for women at Pima College. She has 21 hours toward a master's degree in finance. Ms. Raskob is also a licensed enrolled agent, a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute, an accredited tax and accounting advisor, a certified financial planner, and a certified seminar instructor on estates and trusts.
The biggest challenge I've overcome
Creating a firm that is made up of the best of the best planners to provide an exceptional way for our clients to meet their dreams, goals, and objectives. I now have what I believe is the next two generations of planners in place to provide our clients with extraordinary service.
My greatest strength(s)
Her greatest strength is her communication skills. She also considers her certifications to be an asset. Over the years, she and her company have addressed many unusual situations on behalf of their clients, and nothing surprises them anymore. They believe that if you plan for the worst and it doesn't happen than that's good, but if it does happen at least there's a plan.
My greatest accomplishment to date
Ms. Raskob's greatest accomplishment is putting together the right people for her team through experience in Tuscon, AZ. They are known as the "Best of the Best" in the region.
My personal/professional goals
Her professional goal is to get more training for the youth and philanthropy programs, create charitable giving, and instill community thought and responsibility. Ms. Raskob also intends to working with Kansas State University and Arizona University to strengthen their planning programs.
What/Who has inspired me the most
She is inspired by people and providing education to students. Ms. Raskob learns something from pretty much everyone.
I most want to be known/remembered for
Ms. Raskob hopes to be remembered as a person who made a difference for her clients and improved their lives.
